John 11:47-48

47 So the chief priests and the Pharisees ^agathered ^bthe council and said, ^c“What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and ^dthe Romans will come and take away both our ^eplace and our nation.”

John 12:19

19 So the Pharisees said to one another, ^f“You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, ^gthe world has gone after him.”

Acts 2:12

12 And ^hall were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”
