John 12:3-8

3 aMary therefore took a pound
Greek litra; a litra (or Roman pound) was equal to about 11 1/2 ounces or 327 grams
of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
4But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, 5Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii
A  denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer
and dgiven to the poor?”
6He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and ehaving charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. 7Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it
Or  Leave her alone; she intended to keep it
for the day of my burial.
8For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.”

2 Corinthians 2:15-16

15For we are the aroma of Christ to God among gthose who are being saved and among hthose who are perishing, 16 ito one a fragrance from death to death, jto the other a fragrance from life to life. kWho is sufficient for these things?

Ephesians 5:2

2And lwalk in love, mas Christ loved us and ngave himself up for us, a ofragrant poffering and sacrifice to God.

Hebrews 13:16

16Do not neglect to do good and qto share what you have, for such rsacrifices are pleasing to God.

1 Peter 2:5

5 syou yourselves like living stones are being built up as ta spiritual house, to be ua holy priesthood, vto offer spiritual sacrifices wacceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
