John 12:38-40

38 aso that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

bLord, who has believed what he heard from us,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39Therefore they ccould not believe. For again Isaiah said,

40 d“He has blinded their eyes
and ehardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”

Acts 28:26-27

26 f“‘Go to this people, and say,
g“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 hFor this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and iturn, and I would heal them.’

Romans 11:7-10

7What then? jIsrael failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest kwere hardened, 8as it is written,

lGod gave them a spirit of stupor,
meyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”
9And David says,

n“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
10let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see,
and bend their backs forever.”

2 Corinthians 3:15

15Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts.

Ephesians 4:18

18They oare darkened in their understanding, palienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to qtheir hardness of heart.
