John 13:8-10

8 ^aPeter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, ^b“If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, ^cexcept for his feet, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts omit except for his feet} but is completely clean. And ^eyou ^{▼▼The Greek words for you in this verse are plural} are clean, ^gbut not every one of you.”

1 Corinthians 6:11

11 And ^hsuch were some of you. But ⁱyou were washed, ^jyou were sanctified, ^kyou were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5:26
