John 13:8-10

8 ^aPeter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, ^b“If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, ^cexcept for his feet, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts omit except for his feet} but is completely clean. And ^eyou ^{▼▼The Greek words for you in this verse are plural} are clean, ^gbut not every one of you.”

2 Corinthians 7:1

1 Since we have these promises, beloved, ^hlet us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body ^{▼▼Greek flesh} and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

Hebrews 9:10

10 but deal only with ^jfood and drink and ^kvarious washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

Hebrews 10:22

1 John 1:7-9
