John 15:16

16You did not choose me, but gI chose you and appointed you that you should go and hbear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that iwhatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

John 16:23-24

23 jIn that day you will kask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, lwhatever you ask of the Father in my name, mhe will give it to you. 24Until now you have asked nothing in my name. nAsk, and you will receive, othat your joy may be full.

James 1:5-6

James 5:15
