John 15:4-6

4 ^aAbide ^bin me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; ^cyou are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that ^dbears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me ^ehe is thrown away like a branch and withers; ^fand the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Children of God

28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that ^gwhen he appears ^hwe may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his ⁱcoming.

6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; ^jno one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.
