John 21:15-17

Jesus and Peter

15When they had afinished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, bSimon, cson of John, ddo you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, Feed emy lambs.” 16He said to him a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, fTend gmy sheep.” 17He said to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him hthe third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, iyou know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, Feed jmy sheep.

Romans 8:28

28And we know that for those who love God all things work together kfor good,

James 1:12

12 nBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive othe crown of life, pwhich God has promised to those who love him.

James 2:5

5Listen, my beloved brothers, qhas not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rrich in faith and heirs of sthe kingdom, twhich he has promised to those who love him?

1 John 5:2-3

2 uBy this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3For vthis is the love of God, that we wkeep his commandments. And xhis commandments are not burdensome.
