For God So Loved the World

4But when mthe goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, nnot because of works done by us in righteousness, but oaccording to his own mercy, by pthe washing of regeneration and qrenewal of the Holy Spirit, 6whom he rpoured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that sbeing justified by his grace we might become theirs uaccording to the hope of eternal life.1 John 4:9-10
9In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that vGod sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10In this is love, wnot that we have loved God xbut that he loved us and sent his Son to be ythe propitiation for our sins.
