John 3:3

3Jesus answered him, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is aborn bagain
Or from above; the Greek is purposely ambiguous and can mean both  again and from above; also verse 7
he cannot dsee the kingdom of God.”

John 3:5-6

5Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born eof water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 fThat which is born of the flesh is gflesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
The same Greek word means both wind and  spirit

Romans 7:5

5For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work iin our members jto bear fruit for death.

Romans 8:9

9You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact kthe Spirit of God dwells in you. lAnyone who does not have mthe Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
