The Authority of the Son

Jesus Came to Save the World
44And Jesus cried out and said, ac“Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but adin him who sent me. 45And aewhoever afsees me sees him who sent me. 46 agI have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47If anyone ahhears my words and does not keep them, aiI do not judge him; for ajI did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 akThe one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; althe word that I have spoken will judge him amon the last day. 49For anI have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father aowho sent me has himself given me apa commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”John 14:10
10Do you not believe that aqI am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you arI do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.
