John 4:13-14

13 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but ^awhoever drinks of the water that I will give him ^bwill never be thirsty again. ^{▼▼Greek forever} The water that I will give him will become ^din him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 10:28-29

28 ^eI give them eternal life, and ^fthey will never perish, and ^gno one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, ^hwho has given them to me, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts What my Father has given to me} ^jis greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of ^kthe Father’s hand.

1 Peter 1:2-9

Born Again to a Living Hope

3 ^qBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! ^rAccording to his great mercy, ^she has caused us to be born again to a living hope ^tthrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to ^uan inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and ^vunfading, ^wkept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded ^xthrough faith for a salvation ^yready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by ^zvarious trials, 7 so that ^aathe tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes ^abthough it is tested by ^acfire—may be found to result in ^adpraise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 ^aeThough you have not seen him, you love him. ^afThough you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining ^agthe outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
