John 4:19-26

19 The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that ^ayou are ^ba prophet. 20 ^cOur fathers worshiped on ^dthis mountain, but you say that ^ein Jerusalem is ^fthe place where people ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, ^g“Woman, believe me, ^hthe hour is coming when ⁱneither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 ^jYou worship what you do not know; ^kwe worship what we know, for ^lsalvation is ^mfrom the Jews. 23 But ⁿthe hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father ^oin spirit and ^ptruth, for the Father ^qis seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to him, “I know that ^rMessiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, ^she will tell us all things.” 26 Jesus said to her, ^t“I who speak to you am he.”
