John 4:35-38

35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that ^athe fields are white for harvest. 36 Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that ^bsower and ^creaper ^dmay rejoice together. 37 For here the saying holds true, ^e‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap ^fthat for which you did not labor. Others have labored, ^gand you have entered into their labor.”

1 Corinthians 3:6-9

6 ^hI planted, ⁱApollos watered, ^jbut God gave the growth. 7 So ^kneither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 8 He who plants and he who waters are one, and each ^lwill receive his wages according to his labor. 9 For we are ^mGod’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, ⁿGod’s building.
