John 5:19

The Authority of the Son

19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^athe Son ^bcan do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father ^{▼▼Greek he} does, that the Son does likewise.

John 8:28

28 So Jesus said to them, “When you have ^dlifted up the Son of Man, ^ethen you will know that ^fI am he, and that ^gI do nothing on my own authority, but ^hspeak just as the Father taught me.

John 8:42

42 Jesus said to them, ⁱ“If God were your Father, you would love me, for ^jI came from God and ^kI am here. ^lI came not of my own accord, but ^mhe sent me.
