John 6:39-40

39And ethis is the will of him who sent me, fthat I should lose nothing of gall that he has given me, but hraise it up on the last day. 40For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who ilooks on the Son and jbelieves in him kshould have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

John 6:44

44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me ldraws him. And mI will raise him up on the last day.

Romans 5:17-19

17For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness nreign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

18Therefore, as one trespass
Or the trespass of one
led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness
Or the act of righteousness of one
leads to justification and life for qall men.
19For as by the one man’s rdisobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s sobedience the many will be made righteous.

Romans 8:11

from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies vthrough his Spirit who dwells in you.

1 Corinthians 15:20-26

20But in fact wChrist has been raised from the dead, xthe firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For as yby a man came death, zby a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22For aaas in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then abat his coming acthose who belong to Christ. 24Then comes the end, when he delivers adthe kingdom to God the Father after destroying aeevery rule and every authority and power. 25For he must reign afuntil he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be agdestroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:43-57

43It is sown in dishonor; ahit is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. 44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45Thus it is written, ai“The first man Adam became a living being”;
Greek  a living soul
akthe last Adam became a allife-giving spirit.
46But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. 47 amThe first man was from the earth, ana man of dust; aothe second man is from heaven. 48As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, apso also are those who are of heaven. 49Just aqas we have borne the image of the man of dust, arwe shall

also bear the image of the man of heaven.

Mystery and Victory

50I tell you this, brothers: atflesh and blood aucannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Behold! I tell you a mystery. avWe shall not all sleep, awbut we shall all be changed, 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For axthe trumpet will sound, and aythe dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and azthis mortal body must put on immortality. 54When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

baDeath is swallowed up in victory.”
55 bb“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
56The sting of death is sin, and bcthe power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, bdwho gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:14

14knowing that behe who raised the Lord Jesus bfwill raise us also with Jesus and bgbring us with you into his presence.
