John 5:21-29

21For as the Father araises the dead and bgives them life, so calso the Son gives life dto whom he will. 22 eFor the Father judges no one, but fhas given all judgment to the Son, 23that all may honor the Son, just as they ghonor the Father. hWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24Truly, truly, I say to you, iwhoever hears my word and jbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He kdoes not come into judgment, but lhas passed from death to life.

25Truly, truly, I say to you, man hour is coming, and is now here, when nthe dead will hear othe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear pwill live. 26 qFor as the Father has life in himself, rso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27And he shas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this, for tan hour is coming when uall who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, vthose who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

John 10:18

18 wNo one takes it from me, but xI lay it down yof my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and zI have authority to take it up again. aaThis charge I have received from my Father.”

John 11:25-26

25Jesus said to her, abI am the resurrection and acthe life.
Some manuscripts omit  and the life
Whoever believes in me, aethough he die, afyet shall he live,
26and everyone who lives and believes in me agshall never die. Do you believe this?”

Acts 2:31-38

31he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that ahhe was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32This Jesus aiGod raised up, ajand of that we all are witnesses. 33 akBeing therefore alexalted at the right hand of God, and having received from amthe Father anthe promise of the Holy Spirit, aohe has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. 34For apDavid did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,

aq“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
Sit at my right hand,
35until I make your enemies your footstool.”’
36Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that arGod has made him asboth Lord and Christ, this Jesus atwhom you crucified.”

37Now when authey heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, avwhat shall we do?” 38And Peter said to them, awRepent and axbe baptized every one of you ayin the name of Jesus Christ azfor the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive bathe gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:4-11

4We were bbburied therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as bcChrist was raised from the dead by bdthe glory of the Father, we too might walk in benewness of life.

5For bfif we have been united with him in bga death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6We know that bhour old self
Greek man
bjwas crucified with him in order that bkthe body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
7For blone who has died bmhas been set free
Greek  has been justified
from sin.
8Now boif we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9We know that bpChrist, being raised from the dead, will never die again; bqdeath no longer has dominion over him. 10For the death he died he died to sin, bronce for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11So you also must consider yourselves bsdead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:10-11

10But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11If the Spirit of bthim who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus

from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies bvthrough his Spirit who dwells in you.
