John 6:70-71
70Jesus answered them, a“Did I not choose you, bthe twelve? And yet one of you is ca devil.” 71He spoke of Judas dthe son of Simon Iscariot, for ehe, one of the twelve, was going to betray him.John 12:4-6
4But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, 5“Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii ▼▼A denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer
and ggiven to the poor?” 6He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and hhaving charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.
