John 7:19

19 aHas not Moses given you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. bWhy do you seek to kill me?”

John 8:5

5Now cin the Law, Moses commanded us dto stone such women. So what do you say?”

John 8:9

9But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

Romans 2:12

God’s Judgment and the Law

12For all who have sinned ewithout the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

Romans 2:17-29

17But if you call yourself a Jew and frely on the law and boast in God 18and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19and if you are sure that you yourself are ga guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law hthe embodiment of iknowledge and truth 21 jyou then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you krob temples? 23You who lboast in the law mdishonor God by breaking the law. 24For, nas it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed oamong the Gentiles because of you.”

25For circumcision indeed is of value pif you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. 26So, if qa man who is uncircumcised keeps rthe precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded
Or counted
as circumcision?
27Then he who is physically
Or  is by nature
uncircumcised but keeps the law uwill condemn you who have vthe written code
Or  the letter
and circumcision but break the law.
28For xno one is a Jew ywho is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. 29But a Jew is one zinwardly, and aacircumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. abHis praise is not from man but from God.

Romans 3:19-20

19Now we know that whatever acthe law says it speaks to those who are under the law, adso that every mouth may be stopped, and aethe whole world may be held accountable to God. 20For afby works of the law no human being
Greek flesh
will be justified in his sight, since ahthrough the law comes knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:9-14

9I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. 10The very commandment aithat promised life proved to be death to me. 11For sin, ajseizing an opportunity through the commandment, akdeceived me and through it killed me. 12So althe law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

13Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. 14For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, amsold under sin.

2 Corinthians 3:7-11

7Now if anthe ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory aothat the Israelites could not gaze at Mosesface because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, 8will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? 9For if there was glory in apthe ministry of condemnation, aqthe ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. 10Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

Galatians 3:10

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

10For all who rely on works of the law are arunder a curse; for it is written, asCursed be everyone who does not atabide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”
