John 8:3-8

3The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst 4they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. 5Now ain the Law, Moses commanded us bto stone such women. So what do you say?” 6This they said cto test him, dthat they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. 7And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, e“Let him who is without sin among you fbe the first to throw a stone at her.” 8And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground.

John 11:46-47

46but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. 47So the chief priests and the Pharisees ggathered hthe council and said, iWhat are we to do? For this man performs many signs.

John 11:57

57Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should let them know, so that they might arrest him.

John 12:19

19So the Pharisees said to one another, j“You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, kthe world has gone after him.”
