John 8:32-36

32and you will aknow the truth, and the truth bwill set you free.” 33They answered him, c“We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”

34Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, deveryone who practices sin is a slave
Greek bondservant; also verse 35
to sin.
35 fThe slave does not remain in the house forever; gthe son remains forever. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Romans 6:18

18and, hhaving been set free from sin, ihave become slaves of righteousness.

Romans 6:22

22But now that you jhave been set free from sin and khave become slaves of God, lthe fruit you get leads to sanctification and mits end, eternal life.

1 Corinthians 7:22

22For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is na freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is oa bondservant of Christ.
