Acts 7:57-58

Acts 16:23-24

23 And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. 24 Having received this order, he put them into the inner ^oprison and fastened their feet in ^pthe stocks.

Acts 21:28-32

They seized Paul and ^wdragged him out of the temple, and at once the gates were shut. 31 ^xAnd as they were seeking to kill him, word came to the tribune of ^ythe cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion. 32 ^zHe at once took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. And when they saw the tribune and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.
