John 8:40
40but now ayou seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth bthat I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.John 8:44-49
44 cYou are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. dHe was a murderer from the beginning, and edoes not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. fWhen he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. 46Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? 47 gWhoever is of God hears the words of God. hThe reason why you do not hear them is that iyou are not of God.”Before Abraham Was, I Am
48The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and jhave a demon?” 49Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but kI honor my Father, and you dishonor me.John 10:32-33
32Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” 33The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but lfor blasphemy, because you, being a man, mmake yourself God.”John 15:22-24
22If I had not come and spoken to them, nthey would not have been guilty of sin, ▼▼Greek they would not have sin; also verse 24
but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 pWhoever hates me hates my Father also. 24 qIf I had not done among them the works that no one else did, rthey would not be guilty of sin, but now they have sseen and hated both me and my Father.
