John 8:54-55

54 Jesus answered, ^a“If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. ^bIt is my Father who glorifies me, ^cof whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ ^{▼▼Some manuscripts your God} 55 But ^eyou have not known him. ^fI know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be ^ga liar ^hlike you, but I do know him and I keep his word.

1 John 2:4

4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments ⁱis a liar, and ^jthe truth is not in him,

1 John 2:9

9 Whoever says he is in the light and ^khates his brother is still in darkness.
