John 8:58-59

58Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, aI am.” 59So bthey picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

John 10:33-36

33The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but cfor blasphemy, because you, being a man, dmake yourself God.” 34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in eyour Law, fI said, you are gods’? 35If he called them gods to whom the word of God cameand Scripture cannot be gbroken 36do you say of him whom hthe Father consecrated and isent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because jI said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
