John 9:3

3 Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but ^athat the works of God might be displayed in him.

John 11:4

4 But when Jesus heard it he said, ^b“This illness does not lead to death. It is for ^cthe glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

John 11:40-44

40 Jesus said to her, ^d“Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see ^ethe glory of God?” 41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus ^flifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 ^gI knew that you always hear me, but I said this ^hon account of the people standing around, ⁱthat they may believe that you sent me.” 43 When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” 44 ^jThe man who had died came out, ^khis hands and feet bound with linen strips, and ^lhis face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”
