John 9:39-41

39Jesus said, aFor judgment I came into this world, bthat those who do not see may see, and cthose who see may become blind.” 40Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, dAre we also blind?” 41Jesus said to them, If you were blind, eyou would have no guilt;
Greek  you would not have sin
but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

Acts 28:26-27

26 g“‘Go to this people, and say,
h“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 iFor this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and jturn, and I would heal them.’

Romans 1:21-22

1 Corinthians 1:19-24

19For it is written,

p“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
20 qWhere is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? rHas not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach
Or  the folly of preaching
to save those who believe.
22For tJews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23but we preach Christ ucrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ vthe power of God and wthe wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 3:19

19For xthe wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, y“He catches the wise in their craftiness,”
