Joshua 1:2-4

2Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel. 3 aEvery place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses. 4 bFrom the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun shall be your territory.

Joshua 1:6

6 cBe strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

Joshua 3:10-13

10And Joshua said, “Here is how you shall know that dthe living God is among you and that he will without fail edrive out from before you the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Perizzites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, and the Jebusites. 11Behold, the ark of the covenant of fthe Lord of all the earth

his passing over before you into the Jordan.
12Now therefore itake twelve men from the tribes of Israel, jfrom each tribe a man. 13And kwhen the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, lthe Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall mstand in one heap.”
