Joshua 1:5-9
5 aNo man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just bas I was with Moses, so cI will be with you. dI will not leave you or forsake you. 6 eBe strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 7Only be strong and fvery courageous, being careful to do according to all the law gthat Moses my servant commanded you. hDo not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success ▼▼Or may act wisely
wherever you go. 8This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but jyou shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9Have I not commanded you? kBe strong and courageous. lDo not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Isaiah 41:10-16
10fear not, for I am with you;be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with mmy righteous right hand.
11 nBehold, all who are incensed against you
shall be put to shame and confounded;
those who strive against you
shall be as nothing and shall perish.
12 oYou shall seek those who contend with you,
but you shall not find them;
pthose who war against you
shall be as nothing at all.
13For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”
14 Fear not, you qworm Jacob,
you men of Israel!
I am the one who helps you, declares the Lord;
your rRedeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
15 sBehold, I make of you a threshing sledge,
new, sharp, and having teeth;
you shall thresh tthe mountains and crush them,
and you shall make the hills like chaff;
16 uyou shall winnow them, and vthe wind shall carry them away,
and the tempest shall scatter them.
wAnd you shall rejoice in the Lord;
in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory.

and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
abwhen you walk through fire acyou shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
