Joshua 10:16-18
Five Amorite Kings Executed
16These five kings fled and hid themselves in the cave at aMakkedah. 17And it was told to Joshua, “The five kings have been found, hidden in the cave at Makkedah.” 18And Joshua said, “Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave and set men by it to guard them,Judges 6:2
2And the hand of Midian overpowered Israel, and because of Midian the people of Israel made for themselves the dens that are in the mountains and bthe caves and the strongholds.1 Samuel 13:6
6When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were hard pressed), the people hid themselves cin caves and in holes and in rocks and in tombs and in cisterns,1 Samuel 14:11
11So both of them showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines. And the Philistines said, “Look, Hebrews are coming dout of the holes where they have hidden themselves.”1 Samuel 14:22
22Likewise, when all the men of Israel ewho had hidden themselves fin the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines were fleeing, they too followed hard after them in the battle.1 Samuel 24:3
