42And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, abecause the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.Joshua 11:18-23
18Joshua made war ba long time with all those kings. 19There was not a city that made peace with the people of Israel except cthe Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. They took them all in battle. 20For it was the Lord’s doing dto harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle, in order that they should be devoted to destruction and should receive no mercy but be destroyed, ejust as the Lord commanded Moses.21And Joshua came at that time and cut off fthe Anakim from the hill country, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel. Joshua devoted them to destruction with their cities. 22There was none of the Anakim left in the land of the people of Israel. Only in Gaza, gin Gath, and in Ashdod did some remain. 23So Joshua took the whole land, haccording to all that the Lord had spoken to Moses. iAnd Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel jaccording to their tribal allotments. And the land had rest from war.
Nehemiah 9:22-24
22“And you gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner. kSo they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon land the land of Og king of Bashan. 23You multiplied their children mas the stars of heaven, and you brought them into the land that you had told their fathers to enter and possess. 24 nSo the descendants went in and possessed the land, oand you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hand, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.Psalms 135:8-12
8 He it was who pstruck down the firstborn of Egypt,both of man and of beast;
9who in your midst, O Egypt,
sent qsigns and wonders
against Pharaoh and all his servants;
10 rwho struck down many nations
and killed mighty kings,
11 sSihon, king of the Amorites,
and tOg, king of Bashan,
and uall the kingdoms of Canaan,
12and vgave their land as a heritage,
a heritage to his people Israel.
