Joshua 10:5-8

5Then the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, agathered their forces and went up with all their armies and encamped against Gibeon and made war against it.

6And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua bat the camp in Gilgal, saying, “Do not relax your hand from your servants. Come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites who dwell in the hill country are gathered against us.” 7So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and call the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valor. 8And the Lord said to Joshua, d“Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands. eNot a man of them shall stand before you.”

Joshua 11:4-6

4And they came out with all their troops, a great horde, in number flike the sand that is on the seashore, with very many horses and chariots. 5And all these kings joined their forces and came and encamped together at the waters of Merom to fight against Israel.

6And the Lord said to Joshua, g“Do not be afraid of them, for tomorrow at this time I will give over all of them, slain, to Israel. You shall hhamstring their horses and burn their ichariots with fire.”

Joshua 11:9

9And Joshua did to them jjust as the Lord said to him: he hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

Judges 4:3-9

3Then the people of Israel kcried out to the Lord for help, for he had l900 chariots of iron and he oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for twenty years.

4Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time. 5She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mthe hill country of Ephraim, and the people of Israel came up to her for judgment. 6She sent and summoned nBarak the son of Abinoam from oKedesh-naphtali and said to him, “Has not the Lord, the God of Israel, commanded you, ‘Go, gather your men at Mount pTabor, taking 10,000 from the people of Naphtali and the people of Zebulun. 7And I will draw out Sisera, the general of Jabin’s army, to meet you by qthe river Kishon with his chariots and his troops, rand I will give him into your hand’?” 8Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will go, but if you will not go with me, I will not go.” 9And she said, “I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the Lord will ssell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.

2 Chronicles 14:11

11And Asa tcried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O Lord our God, ufor we rely on you, vand in your name we have come against this multitude. O Lord, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.”

2 Chronicles 20:12

12O our God, will you not wexecute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but xour eyes are on you.”
