21The cities belonging to the tribe of the people of Judah in the extreme south, toward the boundary of Edom, were Kabzeel, ^aEder, Jagur, 22Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah, 23Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan, 24 ^bZiph, Telem, Bealoth, 25Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor), 26Amam, Shema, Moladah, 27Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet, 28Hazar-shual, ^cBeersheba, Biziothiah, 29Baalah, Iim, Ezem, 30Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah, 31 ^dZiklag, Madmannah, Sansannah, 32Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon: in all, twenty-nine cities with their villages.

33And in the lowland, ^eEshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah, 34Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam, 35 ^fJarmuth, ^gAdullam, ^hSocoh, ⁱAzekah, 36Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages.

37Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad, 38Dilean, Mizpeh, Joktheel, 39 ^jLachish, Bozkath, ^kEglon, 40Cabbon, Lahmam, Chitlish, 41Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and ^lMakkedah: sixteen cities with their villages.

42 ^mLibnah, Ether, Ashan, 43Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib, 44 ⁿKeilah, Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.

45 ^oEkron, with its towns and its villages; 46from Ekron to the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages.

47 ^pAshdod, its towns and its villages; ^qGaza, its towns and its villages; to ^rthe Brook of Egypt, and ^sthe Great Sea with its coastline.

48And in the hill country, Shamir, Jattir, Socoh, 49Dannah, Kiriath-sannah ( ^tthat is, Debir), 50Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim, 51 ^uGoshen, Holon, and ^vGiloh: eleven cities with their villages.

52Arab, Dumah, Eshan, 53Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah, 54Humtah, ^wKiriath-arba (that is, ^xHebron), and Zior: nine cities with their villages.

55 ^yMaon, ^zCarmel, ^aaZiph, Juttah, 56Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah, 57Kain, Gibeah, and ^abTimnah: ten cities with their villages.

58Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor, 59Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their villages.

60 ^acKiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.

61In the wilderness, ^adBeth-arabah, Middin, Secacah, 62Nibshan, the City of Salt, and ^aeEngedi: six cities with their villages.

63But the ^afJebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, ^agthe people of Judah could not drive out, ^ahso the Jebusites dwell with the people of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.

Joshua 18:21-28

21Now the cities of the tribe of the people of Benjamin according to their clans were ^aiJericho, Beth-hoglah, Emek-keziz, 22Beth-arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel, 23Avvim, Parah, Ophrah, 24Chephar-ammoni, Ophni, Geba—twelve cities with their villages: 25Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth, 26Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah, 27Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah, 28Zela, Haeleph, ^ajJebus ▼

Joshua 19:1-8

The Inheritance for Simeon

1The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of the people of Simeon, according to their clans, ^anand their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the people of Judah. 2 ^aoAnd they had for their inheritance Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah, 3Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem, 4Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, 5Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah, 6Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen cities with their villages; 7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities with their villages, 8together with all the villages around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the Negeb. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Simeon according to their clans.

Joshua 19:40-48

The Inheritance for Dan

40The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the people of Dan, according to their clans. 41And the territory of its inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh, 42 ^apShaalabbin, ^aqAijalon, Ithlah, 43Elon, Timnah, Ekron, 44Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath, 45Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon, 46and Me-jarkon and Rakkon with the territory over against ^arJoppa. 47When ^asthe territory of the people of Dan was lost to them, the people of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and after capturing it and striking it with the sword they took possession of it and settled in it, calling Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor. 48This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Dan, according to their clans—these cities with their villages.
