Israel’s War with the Tribe of Benjamin
1Then aall the people of Israel came out, bfrom Dan to Beersheba, including the land of Gilead, and the congregation assembled as one man to the Lord at cMizpah.1 Samuel 7:12
12Then Samuel dtook a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen ▼▼Hebrew; Septuagint, Syriac Jeshanah
and called its name Ebenezer; ▼▼ Ebenezer means stone of help
for he said, “Till now the Lord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:16
16And he went on a circuit year by year to Bethel, Gilgal, and Mizpah. And he judged Israel in all these places.1 Samuel 10:17
