Joshua 2:10

10For we have heard how the Lord adried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and bwhat you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to cSihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction.
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)

Joshua 4:23

23For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, ewhich he dried up for us until we passed over,

tto make for himself an everlasting name,
