Joshua 2:9-11

9and said to the men, “I know that the Lord has given you the land, aand that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land bmelt away before you. 10For we have heard how the Lord cdried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and dwhat you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to eSihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction.
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
11And gas soon as we heard it, hour hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for ithe Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.

Joshua 9:9

9They said to him, j“From a very distant country your servants have come, because of the name of the Lord your God. kFor we have heard a report of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

Joshua 9:24

24They answered Joshua, “Because it was told to your servants for a certainty that the Lord your God had lcommanded his servant Moses to give you all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you—so mwe feared greatly for our lives because of you and did this thing.

1 Samuel 17:46-47

46This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. nAnd I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day oto the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, pthat all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, 47and that all this assembly may know that qthe Lord saves not with sword and spear. rFor the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

Isaiah 43:10-11
