Joshua 23:12-15

12For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you aand make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you, 13know for certain that bthe Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you, cbut they shall be a snare and a trap for you, a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good ground that the Lord your God has given you.

14“And now dI am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that enot one word has failed of all the good things

that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.
15But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you gall the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you,

David’s Charge to Solomon

9“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a hwhole heart and with a willing mind, ifor the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. jIf you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

2 Chronicles 15:2

2and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: kThe Lord is with you while you are with him. lIf you seek him, he will be found by you, mbut if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

Ezra 8:22

22For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, n“The hand of our God is for good on oall who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.”

Isaiah 1:28
