Joshua 24:25-26

25 So Joshua ^amade a covenant with the people that day, and put in place ^bstatutes and rules for them at Shechem. 26 And Joshua ^cwrote these words in the Book of the Law of God. And ^dhe took a large stone and set it up there ^eunder the terebinth that was by the sanctuary of the Lord.

Judges 9:6

6 And all the leaders of Shechem came together, and all ^fBeth-millo, and they went and made Abimelech king, by the oak of the pillar at Shechem.
