Joshua’s Death and Burial

29 aAfter these things Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being 110 years old.

2 Samuel 19:32-35

32Barzillai was a very aged man, eighty years old. bHe had provided the king with food while he stayed at Mahanaim, for he was a very wealthy man. 33And the king said to Barzillai, “Come over with me, and I will provide for you with me in Jerusalem.” 34But Barzillai said to the king, cHow many years have I still to live, that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem? 35I am this day deighty years old. Can I discern what is pleasant and what is not? Can your servant taste what he eats or what he drinks? Can I still listen to the voice of singing men and singing women? Why then should your servant be ean added burden to my lord the king?

Job 8:8-9

8 For finquire, please, of bygone ages,
and consider what gthe fathers have searched out.
9For we are but of yesterday and know nothing,
for our days on earth are ha shadow.

Job 42:16-17

16And after this Job lived 140 years, and isaw his sons, and his sonssons, four generations. 17And Job died, an old man, and jfull of days.
