Joshua 5:9

9 And the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the ^areproach of Egypt from you.” And so the name of that place is called ^bGilgal ^{▼▼ Gilgal sounds like the Hebrew for to roll} to this day.

1 Samuel 10:8

8 Then go down before me ^dto Gilgal. And behold, I am coming down to you to offer burnt offerings and ^eto sacrifice peace offerings. ^fSeven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do.”

1 Samuel 11:14-15

14 Then Samuel said to the people, “Come, let us go to Gilgal and there renew the kingdom.” 15 So all the people went to ^gGilgal, and there they made Saul king ^hbefore the Lord in Gilgal.
