Israel Has Not Returned to the Lord

6 “I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities,
and ^flack of bread in all your places,
^gyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
7 “I also ^hwithheld the rain from you
when there were yet three months to the harvest;
ⁱI would send rain on one city,
and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
8 so two or three cities ^jwould wander to another city
to drink water, and would not be satisfied;
^kyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
9 ^l“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees ^mthe locust devoured;
ⁿyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
10 “I sent among you a pestilence ^oafter the manner of Egypt;
I killed your young men with the sword,
and ^pcarried away your horses, ^{▼▼Hebrew along with the captivity of your horses}
and ^rI made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils;
^syet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
11 “I overthrew some of you,
^tas when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
and you were ^uas a brand ^{▼▼That is, a burning stick} plucked out of the burning;
^wyet you did not return to me,”

declares the Lord.
12 “Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel;
because I will do this to you,
prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”

Revelation of John 11:13

13 And at that hour there was ^xa great earthquake, and ^ya tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^zgave glory to ^aathe God of heaven.

7 And he said with a loud voice, ^ab“Fear God and ^acgive him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and ^adworship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the ^aesprings of water.”
