Joshua 7:7-11

7And Joshua said, “Alas, O Lord God, awhy have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to give us into the hands of the Amorites, to destroy us? Would that we had been content to dwell beyond the Jordan! 8O Lord, what can I say, when Israel has turned their backs before their enemies! 9For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it and will surround us and bcut off our name from the earth. And what will you do for your great name?”

10The Lord said to Joshua, “Get up! Why have you fallen on your face? 11Israel has sinned; they have ctransgressed my covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the ddevoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings.

2 Samuel 6:7-10

7And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and eGod struck him down there because of his error, and he died there beside the ark of God. 8And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzzah

9And David was afraid of the Lord that day, and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?” 10So David was not willing to take the ark of the Lord into the city of David. But David took it aside gto the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

1 Chronicles 13:9-13

9And when they came to the threshing floor of hChidon, Uzzah put out his hand to take hold of the ark, for the oxen stumbled. 10And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and he struck him down ibecause he put out his hand to the ark, and jhe died there before God. 11And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzza

1 Chronicles 15:12-13

12and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites. mConsecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, nto the place that I have prepared for it. 13 oBecause you did not carry it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not seek him according to the rule.”
