Joshua 9:11

11So our elders and all the inhabitants of our country said to us, ‘Take provisions in your hand for the journey and go to meet them and say to them, “We are your servants. Come now, make a covenant with us.”’

Joshua 9:24-25

24They answered Joshua, “Because it was told to your servants for a certainty that the Lord your God had acommanded his servant Moses to give you all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you—so bwe feared greatly for our lives because of you and did this thing. 25And now, behold, we are in your hand. Whatever seems good and right in your sight to do to us, do it.”

1 Kings 20:4

4And the king of Israel answered, “As you say, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have.”

1 Kings 20:32

2 Kings 18:14

A  talent was about 75 pounds or 34 kilograms
of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Jeremiah 27:7-8

7 fAll the nations shall serve him and ghis son and hhis grandson, iuntil the time of his own land comes. jThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.

8“‘“But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, kand put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation lwith the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

Jeremiah 27:17

17 mDo not listen to them; nserve the king of Babylon and live. Why should this city obecome a desolation?

John 12:26

26If anyone serves me, he must pfollow me; and qwhere I am, there will my servant be also. rIf anyone serves me, sthe Father will honor him.
