Judges 1:29-32

29 ^aAnd Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them.

30 Zebulun did not drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, or the inhabitants of ^bNahalol, so the Canaanites lived among them, but became subject to forced labor.

31 ^cAsher did not drive out the inhabitants of Acco, or the inhabitants of Sidon or of Ahlab or of Achzib or of Helbah or of Aphik or of Rehob, 32 so the Asherites lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land, for they did not drive them out.

Psalms 106:34-38

34 They did not ^ddestroy the peoples,
^eas the Lord commanded them,
35 but they ^fmixed with the nations
and learned to do as they did.
36 They served their idols,
which became ^ga snare to them.
37 They ^hsacrificed their sons
and their daughters to ⁱthe demons;
38 they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was ^jpolluted with blood.
