Judges 10:11-16

11And the Lord said to the people of Israel, “Did I not save you afrom the Egyptians and bfrom the Amorites, cfrom the Ammonites and dfrom the Philistines? 12The Sidonians also, and ethe Amalekites and the Maonites oppressed you, and you cried out to me, and I fsaved you out of their hand. 13Yet you have gforsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more. 14Go and cry out hto the gods whom you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.” 15And the people of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.” 16So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord, and ihe became impatient over the misery of Israel.

Ezekiel 14:3-6

3 mSon of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set nthe stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. oShould I indeed let myself be consulted by them? 4Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, pI the Lord will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols, 5 qthat I may lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel, rwho are all estranged from me through their idols.

6Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: sRepent and turn away from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
