Judges 13:5

5for behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. aNo razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be ba Nazirite to God from the womb, and he shall cbegin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.”

Judges 16:17

17And he told her all his heart, and said to her, d“A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”

Judges 16:19

19She made him sleep on her knees. And she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began eto torment him, and his strength left him.

1 Samuel 1:11

1 Corinthians 11:10-15

11Nevertheless, nin the Lord woman is not independent of man nor man of woman; 12for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And oall things are from God. 13Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering.
