Judges 16:16

16 And ^awhen she pressed him hard with her words day after day, and urged him, his soul was vexed to death.

2 Surely vexation kills the fool,
and jealousy slays the simple.

38 Then he said to them, ^b“My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and ^cwatch ^{▼▼Or keep awake; also verses 40, 41} with me.”

10 For ^egodly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas ^fworldly grief produces death.

6 And in those days ^gpeople will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.
