Judges 16:2

2The Gazites were told, “Samson has come here.” And they asurrounded the place and set an ambush for him all night at the gate of the city. They kept quiet all night, saying, “Let us wait till the light of the morning; then we will kill him.”

1 Samuel 23:7

7Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, “God has given him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”

Jeremiah 20:10-11

eTerror is on every side!
Denounce him! fLet us denounce him!”
say all my gclose friends,
hwatching for imy fall.
Perhaps he will be deceived;
then jwe can overcome him
and take our revenge on him.”
11But kthe Lord is with me as a dread warrior;
therefore my persecutors will stumble;
lthey will not overcome me.
mThey will be greatly shamed,
for they will not succeed.

will never be forgotten.
