13Then Micah said, “Now I know that the Lord will prosper me, because I have a Levite as priest.”

4So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, cwho is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

5As soon as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel dgave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.

Isaiah 10:20

The Remnant of Israel Will Return

20 eIn that day fthe remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more glean on him who struck them, but hwill lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

Jeremiah 7:4-11

4 iDo not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

5For if you truly jamend your ways and your deeds, if you truly kexecute justice one with another, 6if you ldo not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, mor shed innocent blood in this place, nand if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 othen I will let you dwell in this place, pin the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

8Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 qWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, rswear falsely, smake offerings to Baal, tand go after other gods that you have not known, 10and then come and stand before me in this house, uwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 vHas this house, wwhich is called by my name, xbecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 21:2

Micah 3:11

11 acIts heads give judgment for a bribe;
adits priests teach for a price;
aeits prophets practice divination for money;
afyet they lean on the Lord and agsay,
“Is not the Lord in the midst of us?
ahNo disaster shall come upon us.”
