Judges 18:19-20

19And they said to him, “Keep quiet; aput your hand on your mouth and come with us and be to us ba father and a priest. Is it better for you to be priest to the house of one man, or to be priest to a tribe and clan in Israel?” 20And the priest’s heart was glad. He took the ephod and the household gods and the carved image and went along with the people.

Judges 18:29-31

29And they named the city cDan, after the name of Dan their ancestor, who was born to Israel; but dthe name of the city was Laish at the first. 30And the people of Dan set up the carved image for themselves, and Jonathan the son of Gershom, eson of Moses,

31So they set up Micah’s carved image that he made, ias long as the house of God was at Shiloh.

2 Samuel 4:10-11

10 jwhen one told me, ‘Behold, Saul is dead,’ and thought he was bringing good news, kI seized him and killed him at Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news. 11How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous man in his own house on his bed, shall I not now lrequire his blood at your hand and destroy you from the earth?”
